Making Space 2010 – Architecture and Design for children and young people
We are delighted to announce 'Making Space 2010', organised by Children in Scotland in association with the OECD, Children in Europe and the Scottish Government, which follows on from the success of Children in Scotland's international 'Making Space' programme in 2005.

Participants, not pawns: Guidance on consulting with children and young people on school closures (and other significant changes)
Children in Scotland and Scotland's Commissioner for Children and Young People have published new guidance on consulting with children and young people on school closures (and other significant changes).
The guidance was created in response to the recently enacted Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 which requires pupils to be consulted on such changes. It provides examples of best practice and considerations to ensure that consultations are worthwhile.
An invitation to help make the Early Years Framework a reality – we need your help
Children in Scotland will be bringing together experts, generalists, practitioners and policy makers to work out where and how we can best bring about transformational change to help make the Early Years Framework happen.
We are looking for individuals with early years knowledge and influence (commitment and enthusiasm are equally important).
